There is no fixed rule to help us decide on the right size of diffuser based on a room’s surface area. The key factor is always the placement of the diffuser.
Of course a diffuser that is too small will be ineffective in a large space, while one that is too large may feel overwhelming in a small room. However you need to take care of other factors concerning the positioning, which we are going to explain in the next paragraph.
Place the Diffuser in the Right Spot
The ideal position is central, on a table or piece of furniture, in a passage area where air naturally circulates.
This helps ensure an even diffusion of the fragrance.
Avoid:

Turn the Reeds Regularly
If you are using rattan reeds, it is important to flip them 2–4 times per week to keep the fragrance diffusion active.
If you are using fiber reeds purchased from our shop, there is no need to flip them: thanks to their cotton structure, they absorb the liquid and retain it on the surface, ensuring a consistent and even diffusion.
Over time, reeds may become saturated:
Replace them when they no longer diffuse effectively (average lifespan approx. 6 months) Always change them when switching to a new fragrance.
Maintain the Right Liquid Level
A level that is too low prevents the reeds from absorbing the fragrance properly, reducing effectiveness.
It’s better to refill before the liquid runs out completely.
