A home fragrance diffuser is more than just an accessory: it is a true design element that can transform any room into a unique sensory experience.
Beyond enhancing the aesthetics of a space, it releases an aromatic signature that reflects personality and makes every environment more welcoming and refined.
Today’s market offers solutions for every preference: from contemporary to classic design, with fragrances ranging from fresh citrus notes to warm, enveloping accords.
However, to achieve a truly balanced and effective result, it is essential to follow a few simple but important rules.
Choose the Right Size for the Space
There is no fixed rule to help us decide on the right size of diffuser based on a room’s surface area. The key factor is always the placement of the diffuser.
Of course a diffuser that is too small will be ineffective in a large space, while one that is too large may feel overwhelming in a small room. However you need to take care of other factors concerning the positioning, which we are going to explain in the next paragraph.
Place the Diffuser in the Right Spot
The ideal position is central, on a table or piece of furniture, in a passage area where air naturally circulates.
This helps ensure an even diffusion of the fragrance.
Avoid:
-
Heat sources (radiators, direct sunlight)
- Areas with strong air drafts
Both accelerate evaporation and reduce fragrance longevity.

Turn the Reeds Regularly
If you are using rattan reeds, it is important to flip them 2–4 times per week to keep the fragrance diffusion active.
If you are using fiber reeds purchased from our shop, there is no need to flip them: thanks to their cotton structure, they absorb the liquid and retain it on the surface, ensuring a consistent and even diffusion.
Over time, reeds may become saturated:
Replace them when they no longer diffuse effectively (average lifespan approx. 6 months) Always change them when switching to a new fragrance.
Maintain the Right Liquid Level
A level that is too low prevents the reeds from absorbing the fragrance properly, reducing effectiveness.
It’s better to refill before the liquid runs out completely.
Choose the Right Fragrance for Each Space
Every room benefits from its own aromatic identity:
Living room → warm notes (vanilla, woods, amber)
Bedroom → relaxing fragrances (lavender, chamomile, white flowers)
Kitchen → fresh notes (citrus, aromatic herbs)
Bathroom → light aromas (marine, floral, fruity)
Office → stimulating notes (mint, green tea, bergamot)
Our suggestions:
Living room: Diffuser Premium 240ml N°8 Vanilla
Bedroom: Diffuser I Grandi Classici 240ml N°87 Lavanda
Kitchen: Diffuser Premium 240ml N°27 Orange
Bathroom: Diffuser Alpine 200ml N°72 Natural Flowers
Office: Diffuser I Grandi Classici 240ml N°84 Bergamotto
Conclusion
Using a high-end home fragrance diffuser correctly means combining aesthetics with technique.
Choosing a quality fragrance is not enough: placement, quantity, maintenance, and proportion all determine the final result.
With the right approach, your diffuser becomes much more than a decorative object:
it becomes a true aromatic signature, expressing identity and making every space unique, welcoming, and memorable.
